This was an odd job for an odd film. Frank is a film inspired by unusual creative minds like Frank Sidebottom, Daniel Johnston and Captain Beefheart. The marketing agency wanted to use the behind-the-scenes cast interviews in a more fun way than the usual talking heads bonus featurette, so the idea was to make comics on postcards for a limited edition release of the film on DVD and Blu-ray. Sadly, this edition was never released but I was happy I got paid to draw Frank Sidebottom’s head.
